Week of Welcome (a.k.a. WOW), a favorite KLU tradition, kicks off the second week of the Fall Semester and extends throughout the weekend. Which is organized by UIF team along with a number of other Engineering Departments and Organizations have planned a ton of fun events for you to experience once you arrive – from Ice breaking act and Campus tour to free goodies, free swag, and more – all in an effort to help you connect to your campus and your peers! WHAT WILL YOU SEE?
Your on-campus, experiencing campus culture, student organizations,
staff and faculty introductions, KLU’s New Student Orientation helps
to learn what it’s like to be a KLUIAN.
Through the fun and jam-packed schedule, students will:

• Get a taste of the activities offered throughout the semester
• Learn from current students
• Have informed conversations about the coming years
• Establish lasting bonds of friendship with other new students before
the semester even starts

WHAT CAN YOU LEARN?
Our orientation programs provide opportunities for new students to become familiar with the campus and learn about campus support services.
You will be exposed to more than 60+ Technology/Hobby clubs and you can know more about your interest club and can enroll into them with a lot of fun filled recruitment.
Campus tour will help you to explore the whole university as we are having several world class laboratories and cafeterias through this you will be aware of the premises all around.
Alumni are the real strength of our university, you will learn a lot of tips which will help you through out the way. Our alumni talks are designed in such a way.
Open mics is an opportunity to express yourselves as this program will be conducted by the students you will have high chances to overcome the speak fobia.
Friend ship is an ever lasting bond which will survive for generations.You can find the people of your taste and attitude in the program.
WHAT TO VOLUNTEER?
Volunteer interviews and training:
Week of Welcome(WOW) Volunteer interviews will take place in early July with training sessions taking place in August. All volunteers must participate in a group interview and attend the training.
